Our ‘Introduction To Acting Workshop' is a practical introduction to acting in an enjoyable and supportive environment, providing the opportunity to develop new skills, meet and work with like minded people, and more importantly, have fun!

We cater to people of all backgrounds; whether in professional employment, a student or someone exploring a career as a performer.  The Workshop is aimed at those of all abilities who wish to expand their skill base (e.g their communication skills, body language, presence and negotiation skills) through Actor training in a fun, supportive and friendly environment.

Through actor training you will awaken your inner creative voice, bring awareness to your body, gain confidence and develop communication skills.

In order to connect with an audience, actors must be charismatic and engaging.  Actor training teaches actors how to use their voice and become self-aware in terms of body language in order to get the audience’s attention.

These skills are also applicable in business and everyday life situations. Get your point across articulately during meetings or project confidence.  Beginners, Non-Actors and Returning Actors are welcomed here to explore the craft of acting and to discover new skills.

We will explore:

Movement and Body Language

Awareness and Listening Skills

Voice Exploration.

Improvisation Techniques

Script Work

Drama Studio Bordeaux offers a safe and nurturing professional environment in which to grow, develop and blossom as a professional actor or to simply become a more confident, charismatic individual in your everyday personal and professional life!

You will start out by learning techniques for overcoming stage-fright and self-consciousness, how to connect authentically with others. Relaxation techniques, script analysis and breakdown, sense memory, moment-to-moment work, improvisation, and scene study are all a part of what you will learn.

If you’ve ever wanted to try Acting, our One-Day Workshop is the perfect place to start!

All the world's a stage.
